Canadian men who live in rural areas tend not to participate in healthy living programs and what can we do about it?

In 2013-2014, our team received funding from the Canadian Institutes of Health Research to explore these questions. We surveyed 100 men who lived in rural Southwestern Ontario; interviewed health care providers from these areas; and conducted a scoping review of the scientific literature. Then we invited stakeholders to a knowledge exchange workshop to reflect on the results and give us their perspectives. Click here to learn more about the fascinating results.
