If your knees and hips tend to get stiff when the weather is cold and damp – give this a try. It will also boost your energy when the weather is gloomy.

Exercise

  • Bend your right elbow and slowly lift your left knee.
  • Slowly lower and repeat on the other side.
  • If you feel wobbly, support yourself by standing between a door frame and as you lift your leg, hold onto the side of the door frame.
  • Repeat 10 times on each leg. Take a short break and try 10 more on each side.
