Feels great after working at the computer, snow shoveling or driving. Gives the fingers, wrists, elbows and shoulders a good stretch.

  • Stand with your feet hip width apart, knees relaxed, feet parallel.
  • Interlace your fingers and keep your elbows bent.
  • Turn your palms to face away from you and gently stretch through your elbows, wrists and fingers  as you point your palms toward the floor.
  • Inhale and slowly bring your arms up to the level of your waist, shoulder, face or overhead.
  • Exhale and slowly lower your arms.
  • Start with 5 repetitions.
  • When you’re finished gently shake out your wrists  and so some wrist circles.

Make sure you stretch within your comfort zone. Do not force your elbows straight. Start gradually and overtime you may be able to extend your reach.
This exercise can also be done sitting in an office chair or while watching t.v.
